Until 1889 the town of Bay Head had no official church, rather people simply met in one another's houses for weekly services. In July of 1889, however, the town was finally able to commission and finance the construction of a true church. That original building is the nave of All Saints today. Its architecture and its interior still retain the rustic charm reflecting its seaside location.
