• A WorldWeb.com Travel Guide to Lighthouses in Sea Isle City, NJ, New Jersey.
This 115 foot tall iron tower with skeleton support structure was constructed in 1877. It served as a beacon and guided countless ships and vessels safely to the harbor. Visitors can tour and explore the lighthouse today.
Built in 1849, this lighthouse played an important role in guiding ships safely for almost a century. It was blacked out during the Second World War in the Battle of the North Atlantic in an effort to prevent enemy vessels from finding the coast. Today it serves as a historic site and monument, available to visit and tour by the public.
